PAMM Chief Curator Tobias Ostrander gives you a behind the scenes look at Julio Le Parc: Form into Action. The exhibition is on view at PAMM November 18, 2016 through March 19, 2017

“This is a very ambitious exhibition. It takes a lot of build up, there’s a lot of architecture and a lot of infrastructure that we need in order to show those works. So, it’s a huge commitment to put this exhibition together. What viewers will experience in the exhibition is the space going from sort of a more… kind of lighter… you know, lit area to darker and darker spaces that become more and more dynamic in how they interact with the viewer. It becomes almost a labyrinth of visual experiences that are quite unusual. Almost like a “fun house” type of environment. It’s transforming the museum into this more fun, more interactive, more dynamic space. Our audiences won’t recognize the museum because they’re so transformed architecturally and the perceptive experiences are so different.”
