Get a glimpse of PAMM’s Educator Workshops, sessions throughout the academic year that show teachers how to integrate art in the classroom across all subject areas. Watch how K-12 educators explored the intersections of science and contemporary art through PAMM Teaching Artist-led tours, art-making and a special tour of the Miami Science Barge in Museum Park.
“Learn about how art connects to the different subject areas” – Marie Vickles, Knight Associate Director of Education, School, Outreach and Studio programs
These workshops happen throughout the academic school year and are free for all school teachers. One of the workshop focuses is on an interdisciplinary investigation, which emphasizes the similarities and connections between art and the scientific method. Along with the hands-on workshop, teachers are given a USB drive containing all the material covered to take back to their classes.
