Roberto Fabelo is an accomplished contemporary painter, illustrator, and sculptor. He is also a Cuban native, and currently has two works being displayed in the museum’s On the Horizon: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection exhibition.
In this video, the artist discusses one of the works – a large oil painting called Mujeres de “Cien años de soledad” (Women from One Hundred Years of Solitude), inspired by a book of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez. It will be on display until September 10, 2017.
