Elizabet Cerviño: Beso en tierra muerta

Elizabet Cerviño is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist residing in Havana, Cuba. There is an elegant air of delicacy about her work, where she links together nature and art history.

Cerviño had two works in the first chapter of the museum’s On the Horizon: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Jorge M.  Pérez Collection exhibition. One of these works, Beso en tierra muerta, is an installation piece based off a poem she wrote.

On the Horizon is on view through April 8, 2018.
