PAMM Kids Halloween How To: Roy Lichtenstein-Inspired Face Paint

It’s 13 nights until Halloween! This week, we have another art-themed costume idea for you, inspired by the work of American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.

A leading figure in the new art movement in the 1960s, Lichtenstein’s work defined the premise of pop art through parody. His style, which was inspired by the comic strip, ultimately came to define pop art. One of his works, Waterlilies with Willows, is on display in PAMM’s exhibition Within Genres through Summer 2018.

In this video, learn how to paint your face in a “Lichtenstein” pop art style. This face painting technique makes a truly unique and interesting costume for all ages.
