PAMM’s Art-2-Go program visits west end park for seniors

PAMM’s teaching artists from Art-2-Go, a free education program that brings creative, hands-on art workshops to community organizations, recently visited West End Park to teach a group of talented seniors how to paint with watercolor.

Our teaching artists had the incredible opportunity to work with first-time artists and first-time watercolor artists. From luscious landscapes to fans, the group painted scenes inspired by PAMM’s permanent collection landscapes and West End Park’s tropical surroundings.

Seniors have the opportunity to visit the museum and create art inspired by works on view every first Thursday of the month during Made at PAMM, a free intergenerational learning experience led by PAMM Teaching Artists, featuring art-making sessions in the galleries.
