What inspires you at this moment or in this period of your career/life?
At this very moment—I am inspired by love. Love in myself; a new found love. Love is freedom, this city, Miami. Miami and the home it has provided me. This home has allowed me to live and move freely and occupy space, to create and start over.

Has your creative process changed a lot over the years?
The creative process is a continuous roller coaster, as is life. My current creative process is a reflection of my personal growth. It’s going back to basics for me, having fun and focusing on the people, places, and things that make me happy. Saying no to things that aren’t fulfilling or aligning in my journey…

What have you been listening to lately?
Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of global sounds. My recent travels have provided me with an abundance of magical vibes—specifically Morocco and Portugal.

You’ll be taking over our terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay. Can you spill some details on what you have cooking up for your set at Art + Soul?
Cooking up, that’s perfect actually. I’ve always felt, as a DJ, you have to breathe new life into music that feeds the soul. It is called Art + Soul, It’s going to be super soulful, funky, sexy, fun! There’s going to be a lot of culture and flavor, bring your appetite!
