NADA Miami pARTners with PAMM

As the weather gets cooler and white tents go up across the city, there is an energy in the air with the highly anticipated arrival of Miami Art Week. This year, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) partner fair The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is presenting its 19th edition of NADA Miami, to take place December 1–4, 2021 at Ice Palace Studios.

For the fourth year, NADA will gift the museum an acquisition for its permanent collection. In 2019, the museum acquired New Hat (2019) by Kenny Rivero; in 2018, it acquired Sasha and Zamani’s Tropical Romance (2018) by Cassi Namoda; and in 2017, it acquired ART ROUGH AGES (2012-2015) by Chemi Rosado-Seijo. The NADA Acquisition Gift for PAMM was designed to enhance the relationship between the museum and the fair’s diverse roster of exhibiting galleries and artists, and provides an opportunity for NADA to support and engage with the art institutions of Miami-Dade County in exciting and dynamic ways.

This year, PAMM curators María Elena Ortiz, Jennifer Inacio, and Maritza Lacayowill tour NADA Miami on December 1 and select this year’s gifted acquisition to the museum. You can see the gift throughout the weekend during regular fair hours. Get your tickets here.

NADA Miami features over 170 exhibitors across three sections: Galleries; NADA Projects, an open, exhibition-like presentation of new art from emerging voices; and the latest addition, Artists’ Book Publishers, presented by Printed Matter and Exile Books

The NADA Acquisition Gift for PAMM is funded by ticket sales of NADA Miami 2021.
